DROP
OFF: Youth will be checked in by staff upon arrival. Do not
drop off early! If a youth arrives more than 30 min. before drop off
time, the parent will be charged a $5 fee per child.
DEPARTURE: Bus leaves promptly 1/2
hr after drop off time and will not wait for late arrivals (no refunds).
PICK
UP: DO NOT PICK UP LATE!
Parents should be at the CYA at designated pick-up time. Youth will
sign themselves out and indicate who is driving them home. Actual
return times may vary slightly due to traffic conditions. A $10 late
fee will be charged if a youth is picked up more than 30 min. late.
Failure to pay fee will result in the loss of a future trip. (If youth
is allowed
to walk home, parent must sign walk-home permission form).
STAFF RATIO: Parents and youth are encouraged to
choose their trips carefully. Youth may not be required to stay with
staff at all times on all trips. On such trips, youth are required
to check in with staff at specified time and place. Staff/Youth ratio
is approx 1:10 but may vary due to the nature of the trip. (i.e. NYC
trips are lower, enclosed amusement parks are higher).
REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS: Refunds will not be issued
if you cancel a trip unless CYA office is notified one full week prior
to trip AND your spot can be filled. In case of cancellation due to
a
medical emergency, a doctor’s note is required and refund will
be issued ONLY if your spot is filled. In case of summer school call
CYA office. There is a $5 service fee for all cancellations.

BUILDING . Parents and youth are encouraged to choose their
trips carefully. Staff/Youth ratio is approx 1:10 but may vary due
to the nature of the trip. (i.e. NYC trips are lower, enclosed amusement

YOUTH
MUST BRING: Youth should always carry I.D. and a couple of
dollars in case of emergency. Youth should also bring snack, lunch
or lunch money, beverage (appropriate for length of trip) plus items
suggested in Trip Details.
MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS: REACH CYA is not responsible
for lost or damaged items. Youth are responsible for their own possessions
and should keep money and items of value with them at all times.
